A Comprehensive Program for Early Childhood Music Education

"Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination,
a charm to sadness, gaiety and life to everything."-Plato
The program is fast-paced and colourful. It includes lots of fun charts,
musical games, puppets and toys - a 'Sesame Street' approach to teaching.
There is a need for increased musical education for children at an
early age, especially with the recent cutbacks in music programs.
It is generally harder to teach very young children to play the piano.
They are usually not ready for the structured discipline of having to
practice. The attention span and fine motor control of young children
is limited. BUT…there is SO MUCH MORE a young child can learn musically
to prepare for formal music lessons. This program is a fun INTRODUCTION TO MUSIC.
Children need to understand basic musical concepts. And they can have
so much fun doing it!! Children love music. They love to feel it with their whole body.
Remember, music lessons should and can be FUN!

Each child receives a Musical Kit consisting of a Notebook and Crayons, Flash
Cards plus many other visual aids (miniatures of the teacher's visual aids).
Parent's sheets are given each week with information of what has been covered
during the lesson and what the child needs to work on during the week. Parents do
not have to attend the lessons.
Each week, children participate in a fun "Musical Show and Tell". The children
are able to share their own special things with other children (i.e. something with
a HIGH sound) and learn important musical concepts at the same time. |
Start right away by sharing the Joy of Music with your child.
